My Haiku past.

Here are some old Haiku that I haven't revisited in a while. Enjoy.

moving stars behind
trees, twinkling and flashing; lights
in and out of sight

hundreds of lights, spread

like a huge blanket -
                           covers
the earth in morse code

long nails yet shameful
cuticle care and so much
dullness in hair, pure

style is stricken to
appropriate itself just
to the luckiest

Waiting in the bright hot
air that prickles. No breeze but
reflected yellow.

Separated light
Filtered through. Canvas protects
Us from morning rays

Poles stretch upwards to
See the sky closer; pulling
Canvas and strings taught.

All warm and light; lets
lie here for a while. Peaceful
waking trips over

the world. Steady step.
Open your arms. Stretch out to
The sides.  Breathe deeper.

Night perspiration
beaded on brow, no rest in
sleep. Trapped in a life

people all wanting

a [peace] of thought.
Not enough for me.

Running through fields of

grass, gypsy junk cast aside
so desperately in

need of space to breathe.

To scream out loud, to be free
of hangers on; they're

pulling at strings tied

on while you were sleeping so
silently. Peaceful.

Close the door behind.

Break away the strings and jump
Into blue beyond
