Sweaty Betty, Running, and Packing!

After a day off from running yesterday (I ran 6k Saturday, 7k Sunday) I set off for the gym dreaming of 10k, grinning and thinking that I might actually make it today. Naaa. I did just over 7k. Pushed myself for the last 2k and got my time down, but felt sick. Ha. Nice! Ps, I now have my first running blister!

My 10k goal, aside from being a very proud moment, will also be when I promised I'd buy myself a new piece of running kit....SWEATY BETTY! I have been drooling over their catalogue for a while now, and have settled on this run capri pant. A good prize, what do you think? At the moment I run in Nike running tights, a long vest (to cover my bum) and a t-shirt. It gets pretty hot with two layers on. Especially when I'm running in the gym. So by getting these new trousers, hopefully I can lose the long vest and just wear a t-shirt. Whoop! We shall see. I have to run 10k first...

I am off to the Scilly Isles tomorrow night. Be prepared for a heck of a lot of photography appearing on here when I get back! Right - I must re-pack my bag for the third time. #soexcited
